During the second day of the displays, a Belarusian Su-27UBM-1 aircraft (modernised at the 558th Aircraft Repair Plant in Baranovichi) crashed. It fell onto a field near a wooded area in the village of Małęczyn near Radom. Immediately after the accident, a W-3 helicopter from the 2nd Search and Rescue Group in Mińsk Mazowiecki, on duty at the Radom airfield, went to the crash site in order to secure the area and find the pilots.
