The L-1011 incident in Leeds was an aviation incident that occurred on 27 May 1985. A Lockheed L-1011-385-1 TriStar 1 passenger airliner of a now-defunct British airline was operating flight KT 101 on the Palma de Mallorca–Leeds service, but during landing at Leeds Bradford Airport in Leeds the runway was slippery as a result of earlier rain and the pilots did not manage to brake in time and the aircraft rolled off beyond its end. Of the 412 people on board (398 passengers and 14 crew members), no one was killed or injured.
