The An-24 crash in Nizhnevartovsk was an aviation accident that occurred on the evening of Monday, 13 October 1969 near Nizhnevartovsk Airport. An An-24B airliner of the Tyumen Joint Aviation Squadron of Aeroflot was completing scheduled domestic flight SU-227 on the Tyumen — Surgut — Nizhnevartovsk route, but while approaching to land at Nizhnevartovsk Airport the airliner abandoned the approach and went around.
