The Tashkent air crash happened on 19 October 2006 in the vicinity of Tashkent International Airport in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. An Antonov An-2 aircraft, belonging to Uzbekistan Airways, crashed while approaching for an emergency landing. As a result of the crash 15 people (13 passengers and 2 crew members) were killed – everyone on board.
