Wuhan Airlines Flight 4211 occurred on 8 October 1992. On that day, an Avia 14M of Wuhan Airlines, which was on a domestic charter flight from Lanzhou to Xi'an, crashed after it had continuously lost altitude as a result of an engine failure. 14 of the 35 people on board were killed in the accident. It was the last known accident worldwide of an Ilyushin Il-14/Avia 14 involving fatalities and a hull loss.
