The Antonov An-12 accident in Goma occurred on 7 September 2007, when an Antonov An-12BP cargo aircraft crashed during an intermediate landing at Goma Airport. All 8 people on board the Antonov were killed in the incident.
Accident sequence
The aircraft was transporting around 18 tonnes of cargo, including palm oil, from Kisangani to Bukavu, with an intermediate landing planned in Goma.
