NTSB narrative
On May 25, 2011, about 0810 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), a Dassault Falcon 7X airplane, with Swiss registration HB-JFN, operated by Jet Link AG, had its flight crew report a runaway trim during descent and they declared an emergency. The flight crew was able to regain airplane control and subsequently landed the airplane at the Kuala Lumpur/Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah/Subang Airport, near Subang, Malaysia. The three flight crew members were not injured and the airplane sustained no damage. The flight originated from the Nurnberg Airport, near Nurnberg, Germany.
The Malaysian Ministry of Transport and the French Bureau d'Enquetes et d'Analyses pour la Securite de l'Aviation Civile (BEA) have agreed to have the BEA investigate the incident and produce the final report. The BEA has requested assistance from the NTSB in this investigation. Further information pertaining to this incident may be obtained from:

- Unreviewed is an editorial label, not an investigation status. API-sourced is not report-checked or human-reviewed. Explicit event totals are used without summing aircraft injury tables; onboard allocation is withheld. Unknown values remain unknown. The operation category is mapped from the NTSB-reported FAR part and has not been reviewed.
- Filled from the NTSB case API where the bulk record had no value: coordinates, damage. Values present in the bulk record are kept.
