The crash of the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation Airbus Helicopters EC-130 occurred during a training flight of the Training Center that took off from Vũng Tàu Airport, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu in southern Vietnam on the morning of 18 October 2016. The EC-130 T2 helicopter, number 8632, of the Training Center of the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation, was conducting a training flight in Vũng Tàu. At 08:03 the aircraft crashed in the area north-west of Dinh Mountain, about 25 km from Vũng Tàu Airport, catching fire and causing a loud explosion there. On board were 3 officers, comprising 1 instructor, Captain Dương Lê Minh, and 2 trainees, First Lieutenant Đặng Đình Duy and First Lieutenant Nguyễn Văn Tùng. At 12h noon on 19 October the wreckage of the aircraft was found at the Ba Quan ravine (the section between Hang Mai and the Viên Không Zen Monastery).
