A Boeing 777-3M0ER passenger airliner of the Russian airline Aeroflot was operating scheduled flight SU270 on the Moscow – Bangkok route, but approximately 40 minutes before landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok the aircraft encountered clear-air turbulence.
