The Chamanjirenje air accident occurred on 23 November 2018 on the Chamnjirenje slope, when a private light aircraft on a domestic flight struck the ground about 70 kilometres from its point of departure. All five people on board were killed. As of February 2019 there is still no information on the cause of the accident. The Zimbabwean aviation authorities did not issue any report despite the regulations of the civil aviation organisation, and the Safety Investigation Authority of Finland ended its monitoring of the investigation in March 2021.

On November 23, 2018, about 0530 coordinated universal time, a Cessna U206C airplane, Z-BRS, was destroyed when it impacted terrain near Chemajenjera Hill, Zimbabwe. The pilot and four passengers were fatally injured. The airplane was operated under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of Zimbabwe.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) is investigating the accident. As the state of manufacture of the airplane and engine, the NTSB has designated an US accredited representative to assist the CAAZ in its investigation.
