The air crash of the Dominican Air Force ENAER T-35B Pillán occurred on Sunday 7 April 2013 at 14:30 h (local time -4) during a demonstration at the "Caribbean air show", in the middle of its second day of performances. The aircraft was flown by Dominican Air Force pilots Lieutenant Rafael Sánchez Astacio and Second Lieutenant Carlos Manuel Guerrero Guerrero, both killed. The Emergency Operations Centre, the Dominican Navy and the Dominican Air Force took part in the search operations.
