NTSB narrative
On September 20, 2015, about 1000 hours universal coordinated time, a Glassair RG airplane, Swiss registration HB-YEA was destroyed when it impacted an automobile and burst into flames during a forced landing following a loss of engine power near Muhen, Switzerland. The pilot was fatally injured. The incident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board (STSB). This report is for informational purposes and contains only information released by or obtained from the government Switzerland.
