NTSB narrative

On February 5, 2011, at 1255 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 310R, VH-XGX, operated by a private individual, collided with terrain near Bathurst Island, Australia. The airplane was substantially damaged and the pilot, the sole occupant, was killed.
