AIRCRAFT WAS OBSERVED TO ENTER A LOW OVERCAST SHORTLY AFTER TAKE OFF. THE AIRCRAFT THEN HIT A MOUNTAIN ABOUT 4 MILES NORTH OF THE DEPARTURE AIRPORT.
