THE PLT WAS ATTEMPTING A TAKEOFF WITH A 12 KT QUARTERING TAILWIND WHEN THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ROTATION AND GEAR RETRACTION, THE ACFT SETTLED AND IMPACTED THE TERRAIN.
